Course Description:
Anxiety disorders and phobias are among the most common mental health concerns globally, both of which affect an individual’s overall functioning and wellbeing. While there are several available evidence-based interventions, many mental health professionals – especially those in early practice or limited experience in the clinical setting – may feel unprepared to deliver effective treatment. This 8-hour training aims to build skills, competence, and confidence in delivering psychosocial interventions specifically designed to address anxiety and phobia. Participants will develop foundational knowledge, core skills, and hands-on-practice in evidence-based psychological interventions for anxiety and phobia. The training emphasizes practical application, ethical considerations, and adapting interventions to diverse client presentations.
