Course Description:
This foundational training introduces mental health professionals to Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy as a first-line treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). This training equips mental health professionals with foundational knowledge and essential clinical skills in conducting ERP for OCD. Through interactive discussions, case vignettes, simulations, and guided practice, participants will learn how to assess OCD presentations, formulate ERP cases, develop exposure hierarchies, and implement basic ERP therapeutic interventions using in vivo and imaginal exposure with response prevention. The program emphasizes ethical, culturally sensitive, and client-centered practice within a cognitive-behavioral framework.
